A stunning new release Rada! A pitch perfect release in time for summer drinking

So after a couple of months of wine show judging, a trip to Singapore (work, I promise!) and last week in the Hunter Valley for elite 'wine camp' The Len Evans Tutorial, I've been doing that thing where I wake up in the middle of the night feeling distinctly disoriented!

Somewhere in between all of that craziness though, Bryn and I did find the time to bottle the most recent version of Rada, my Pinot Meunier/ Pinot Noir blend. It's now available as of this week, so see below for more details!

With the growing season well and truly upon us, Bryn has been flat out in the vineyard. Spring has been pretty mild so far although this week should push things along nicely. There look to be plenty of baby bunches on the young shoots, so fingers crossed for a good flowering as we head into December.

In the current instalment of 'if it's not one thing, it's another,' the latest challenge has been pest pressure on the young shoots. With the crazy dry winter we have had, possums, wallabies and cockatoos have been having a field day with the young growth. We've got pretty good fencing but they still seem to have found a way in, and of course we can't do much about the cockies. Everyone in the Coal River Valley has been under the same pressure, but fingers crossed it won't affect crop levels too much.
