2025 will be remembered for very generous crops across Tasmania. At Palisander vineyard, we managed to get ahead of this in our Pinot blocks with thorough shoot thinning early in the season, as well as judicious thinning of fruit once we hit veraison.

We began harvesting on the 25th of March with our Downhill Pinot Noir in beautiful condition and with lively natural acidity. A dry and calm start to April, cooling nicely toward the end of the month enabled very measured and considered harvest decisions. We finished up with our final pick of Gamay Noir on the 24th of April, rounding out a rather intense and rewarding month.

With the wines tucked away in barrel, it's now time for the wines to slowly unfurl and begin to tell the stories of 2025 at Palisander Vineyard. I am eagerly anticipating this season being shared with you in the bottle.
