Tasting Room
Our new Stargazer tasting room is the perfect setting for a beautiful, guided tasting experience overlooking the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vines at the Palisander vineyard. Whether you're a seasoned enthusiast or just beginning your wine journey, we invite you to sit with us for a tutored session. You'll be seated around our bespoke communal table with other like-minded wine lovers, where you'll enjoy a selection of current release wines and sometimes other special vinous treats.
To ensure an intimate and personal experience, we only have a limited number of spaces. Our guided sessions can accommodate up to twelve people and last approximately one hour.
Bookings are essential for visiting our tasting room (we don’t accept walk-ins), located at 37 Rosewood Lane, Tea Tree, in the Coal River Valley. Booking times are available at 10:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. on Friday through Monday.
To confirm your visit, full payment of $35 per guest is required at the time of booking. For our Constellation Club, Palisander Club, and Explorer Club members, your tastings are complimentary.
Tasting Room FAQs
1. If you need to cancel or reschedule, you can do so directly via the link in your original booking confirmation email, or by contacting us by email.
2. Cancellations and rescheduled bookings will be handled in accordance with the amount of written notice you provide us ahead of your booking, either via your account or by email, as follows:
More than 48 hours notice
(a) (cancellation): you can request a full refund; or
(b) (reschedule): you can request an alternative available time slot within the booking calendar (directly, via your account; or we can arrange a time via email).
Less than 48 hours notice
(c) (cancellation): no refund is available.
(d) (reschedule): you can request an alternative available time slot within the booking calendar (directly, via your account; or we can arrange a time via email).
No shows
(e) No refund or reschedule is available.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any tasting session due to unforeseen circumstances. Your session will be cancelled or rescheduled with as much notice as possible.
If we cancel your session, we will notify you by email. We will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the session at a convenient time. If rescheduling is not possible, we will provide a refund or credit equal to what you have paid.
1. Refunds will be provided for cancellations made in accordance with clause 2 of our Cancellation Policy.
2. Refunds will not be offered to anyone who is:
(a) refused admission;
(b) asked to leave due to a suspected or actual breach of our Responsible Service of Alcohol obligations.
(c) fails to attend in time for their booked tasting session.
It sure is; but please do give us a heads up when you make a booking so we can help with any accessibility issues.
No, but please do ask us for local recommendations as there are plenty of cellar doors close by that offer food.
We sure can! Rather than taking your wine purchases home on the plane we can send directly to your home address (minimum 6 bottles; $15 flat rate freight). We are also part of the Tasmanian Mixed Dozen freight scheme: pick up any Tasmanian wine on your travels and then have the purchased bottles sent to your home address. Present your bottles in dozen lots to us and we’ll let you know the cost of freight and it will be sent straight to your home address.
We’re also happy to arrange a quote for you to ship internationally.

The maximum booking size is 12 guests. We cannot accommodate tour groups or large group requests.
