When I set out to build our new tasting room, I wanted every element to reflect the same care and consideration I pour into our bottles. The space has been intentionally curated with bespoke details that honour both our craft and the environment around us.
Perhaps the most striking of these is the Navicula pendant light floating above our communal tasting table. It was created by David Trubridge, one of the world’s preeminent designers and a recognised leader in environmentally responsible design based in Aotearoa/New Zealand.

The design is inspired by microscopic diatoms—tiny organisms that live in our water and produce 50% of the air we breathe. To me, this piece is a beautiful reminder of the intricate natural systems that sustain our vineyard and the "quiet work" happening beneath the surface. It serves as the perfect centrepiece for our table of twelve, casting a warm light over the conversations and connections that happen here.
Every detail in the room, from the timber finishes to the view of the Palisander vines, has been selected with a deep respect for the landscape. If you haven’t already, I can’t wait for you to experience this thoughtfully crafted space.
