Those of you who have been Stargazer supporters and followers for a while (and those who have made the trek out to the vineyard) will know that we are not over-endowed with visitor facilities! We only finished the vineyard shed and got power connected to it last year, so at least now we have a place to make a cup of tea and a fridge to put the beers for a cold one at the end of a hot vineyard day.
For that reason, we haven't been able to participate in the widely popular Southern Tasmania Open Vineyards Weekend—but this year, we can! Together with our friends David and Frieda from Henskins Rankin and Luke from Sonnen Wine, we'll be opening some wines for you to enjoy on the 2nd and 3rd of March and selling some bottles for takeaway sales.
As an additional attraction, Matthew Evans from Fat Pig Farm will join us to provide some home-grown sustenance on the day, so I hope you can come along and say hello to all of us!
