There’s a specific kind of magic that happens when you stop yelling orders and start listening to the land. I first met Lucy Ridge on her odyssey across Australia, searching for a more meaningful relationship with food after years in the high-pressure, male-dominated restaurant world.
From shucking oysters near Jervis Bay to harvesting bush foods in Broome, Lucy’s journey eventually led her to our neck of the woods to join us for vintage in 2024. Her new book, Fed Up, is the beautiful, gritty result of that sojourn. It’s a tribute to the women who grow, make, and harvest with ethics and care for Country at the centre.
To celebrate the launch, we’re looking for your stories. We want to hear about the women or the moments that changed how you see the food on your plate or the wine in your glass.
Share your story on our dedicated landing page, below. Lucy and I will read through them and pick three winners to receive a special Stargazer x Fed Up bundle.
