The label of our Stargazer Coal River Valley Riesling pays homage to one of Tasmania's most distinctive heritage landmarks: the Shot Tower. This iconic industrial tower, a testament to the ingenuity of its builder, Joseph Moir, has presided over the waterside suburb of Taroona since the late 1800s. It was built to make lead shot for smooth-bore muzzle-loading guns.
Much like the enduring legacy of the Shot Tower, our Coal River Valley Riesling is a testament to the character and history of Tasmania. Its label celebrates a unique piece of our island's past, while the wine inside, crafted with careful attention to detail, offers a taste of its extraordinary terroir.
