Our 2024 Chardonnay is a true Southern Tasmania story. It blends fruit from our Palisander Vineyard in the Coal River Valley with parcels from Bernard Brain’s vineyard at Ouse in the Upper Derwent Valley and the Marengo Vineyard near Richmond. Each site brings something unique, from the white silica sands of Ouse to the Jurassic dolerite of Palisander.
Using indigenous yeasts and French oak to build complexity, we’ve created a wine featuring notes of lemon peel, custard, and flint, balanced by a generous palate and that salt-air/oyster shell finish I love.
